Jerry Says
Jerry says “I lost the world today,
I had it right here in my hands

Jane sees Jerry from across the room
She don’t know why he’s crying
Jerry thinks he’s all alone, Alone
And he’s staring out his window.

Jerry thinks about his family
Says “Momma I will see you soon”
Wonders if three flights is just high enough
For him to fall
Hears a shriek from across the room
But he finds he cannot fall
Floating now he is himself, staring
